PRIMARY GRADE I TO V

The primary section follows the ICSE primary curriculum designed by the council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). The study material and curriculum is provided by the KKEL (Kangaroo Kids Education Limited). The subjects offered are English, Hindi, Marathi, Mathematics, EVS/Science, Computer, Social Studies, Community Commitments and Art.
Students are not assessed through formal examinations but by day-to-day evaluations through crosswords, quizzes, projects and other methods of assessment, but there is a Continuous Comprehensive Assessment for them (Formative and Summative). Worksheets that are age-appropriate and skill - centred help in evaluating the students without the accompanying stress. Emphasis is laid not only on writing but also on speaking and communication skills.
The students are exposed to various activities such as Science Exhibition, Puppet Show, Fancy Dress Competition and Culminating Activities. Experiential learning being at its core, regular field trips, plenty of co-curricular activities (both physical and mental) and an annual educational tour form part of the primary school curriculum.
The students are engaged and encouraged to participate in Inter-House and Inter-School Activities like Elocution, Handwriting, Drawing, Craft, Fort Making, Singing, Dance, Poetry Recitation, Diya Decoration, Rangoli Making and Spell-Bee Competitions.

SECONDARY GRADE VI TO X

Grades VI-X is classified as secondary section and it culminates in the ICSE examination at the end of Grade X. The secondary School Curriculum encourages learners to develop skills like critical thinking and creativity. The curriculum along with theory enhances cultural awareness and has the following key aspects: 1. Social, Moral and Ethical Values. 2. Time Management and Reflection. The Scholastic and Non-Scholastic areas are intertwined in a manner that they help in the holistic development of students.
The students are engaged and encouraged to participate in Inter-House Activities like Elocution, Painting, Singing, Dance, Drama, Debate, Street play, Model making, Extempore, Quiz, Robot making, Video making etc. and Inter-School Activities like MUN, Eumind, Quiz, Debate, Dance, Painting/Drawing, Recitation, Elocution etc.
They are also encouraged for Sports events for Inter School & Inter-house competitions like Athletic, Kabaddi, Football, Cricket, Basketball and Table Tennis.

The students of Grade VI to X are assessed in both Formative and Summative methods.

For Grade VI to VIII:
Formative Assessment includes Weekly Tests, Projects, Quiz, Presentations, Recitation, Aural Test, Practicals, Enactments, Roleplay and Games.
Summative Assessment Includes Two Term Exams.

For Grade IX:
Formative Assessment includes Weekly Tests, Projects, Quiz, Presentations, Recitation, Aural test, practicals, Enactments, Roleplay and Games.
Summative Assessment Includes One exam at the end of Term I and another exam at the end of Term II. Question papers are sent by the council and corrected by school teachers.

For Grade X:
Formative Assessment includes Weekly Tests, Projects, Quiz, Presentations, Recitation, Aural Test, Journal Work and Practicals.
Summative Assessment includes one exam at the end of Term I, and there are two Preliminary exams before ICSE Examinations.

  • Students may choose any one subject from Group III.
  • Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) is a mandatory component of the course curriculum.
  • Students are expected to put in a minimum number of hours of social service and also show proficiency in a creative craft.
