I have had a wonderful association with Gymbaroo, Kangaroo Kids and Billabong for over 9 years.
I’ve always been a firm believer that whatever you do should be done well or not done at all. I also believe that there’s
no point sticking to a formula just because it’s conventional. There is always a new and improved model available which
has learnt from the mistakes of the past one.
The KKEL system is symbolic of changing times, needs and attitudes. Given that children spend a majority of their
growing years in classrooms, it strives to make quality education fun, absorbing and interactive in an environment that
comfortable and entertaining.
Personally, as a parent, I’m very pleased with the teacher-child ratio in class, the quality of education and extra curricular
activities, and the accessibility of faculty and staff. The fact that my kids never whine, complain or fake a stomach ache
and love to go to school each morning is illustrative of the environment that has been created to make learning not just a
necessity, but a pleasure.
Three cheers for Gymbaroo, Kangaroo Kids and Billabong. May it only go from strength to strength.

Hi, my daughter Kiara began her schooling with GYMBAROO at the age of 1 in the pre- primary section of KANGAROO
KIDS SCHOOL. Today she is in the JR KG and I must say I’m extremely happy with the way she has grown into an
extremely well informed and knowledgeable young person. She comes home from school and talks to me about the
Dinosaurs, tells me about how blind people read with the help of Braille books and discusses the different seasons. I’m
constantly amazed as to how the teachers manage to explain such complex subjects in such a simple fashion that not
only does my 5 year old absorb it but also has the resources to recount it.
The answer I have been made to understand lies in the curriculum developed by the school. Schooling today is not
merely about reaching the 10th standard with good marks obtained courtesy rote learning…. Today it is more about how
you learn it and how much you absorb it …so that what you learn becomes a part of your system and that knowledge
remains with you long after you have left school!
It’s not about the end as much as it is about the journey! And I’m very glad that my daughter is making her journey
through a school like KANGAROO KIDS which has a novel and modern approach to education.

When I first had my kids, like any other celebrity mom, I wanted my kids to have a normal childhood, where they won't
be affected by all the glamour that surrounds us. I visited a lot of different schools where I was assured that Mallika &
Manan won't be given any special attention. I was always a little concerned about these assurances. Because somewhere
at the back of my mind I did want my kids to be special. They are very special to me and my husband, therefore they
must be treated that way. But often enough, kids whose parents are known, have to silently suffer either by being too
popular or by hiding in the shadows. I certainly wanted neither for my children. And then I happened to come across
Kangaroo Kids. It was like an answer to all my prayers. I am so happy with what my kids have learnt and understood at
this young age, and what's most important is that they aren't stressed at all. I swell with pride when I see Mallika at 7
debating with her dad, correcting his mispronounciation of Ptolemy. (I thank god for National Geographic Channel, after
all the questions my kids asked me about Egyptian civilization). The reason why I say my prayers are answered, is
beacause my kids are very special at Kangaroo Kids/ Billabong High. They are given the attention that I was secretly
hoping for, only I realised that it is the kind of attention that is given to every single child that studies at Billabong,
because every child is special. It is amazing that you and Sarita know every single child by his/her name and what is
even more touching is that you both seem to be friends with almost all the parents as well. Most of the schools that I
have known, the picture is just the opposite. Parents are always at logger heads with the school authorities. I just want
to thank you for this eye-opener. For making me realise that it's not wrong to be selfish for my children. For assuring me,
just as you assure every single mother, that my child is very special. This MESSAGE comes to say a BIG THANK YOU, to
you, Sarita and June, for making this selfless effort for every mothers selfish feeling.
